SORTA-Clear® Series rubbers are premium water white translucent silicone rubbers (platinum catalyst) which cure at room temperature with negligible shrinkage. Sorta-Clear silicones feature high tensile and tear strength.
SORTA-Clear® silicones are ideal for making prototype, jewelry or other molds of any configuration where model visibility is important (i.e. extracting a model from the mold via cutting). Materials such as polyurethane, epoxy or polyester resins can then be cast into SORTA-Clear® silicone without application of a release agent. Other materials such as wax and low melt metal alloys can also be cast into SORTA-Clear® silicones and can be pigmented with Silc Pig® silicone pigments.
SORTA-Clear® silicones are FOOD GRADE compliant and suitable for making custom chocolates, candy or cakes.
Product excellent and so was ordering via the shop! Really great comms and delivery, knowledgeable staff :) The one thing I did findout by trial and error was how clay with sulphur reacts with silicone- doh!
